Mercor is partnering with a leading AI organization to engage experienced researchers across computer science, biology, economics, and related fields. This role involves reviewing research materials to evaluate methodological rigor, technical innovation, and logical consistency while helping distill complex academic content.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical and research documents to identify methodological advancements
• Compare new approaches against baseline models and existing research
• Evaluate evidence strength, logical structure, and argumentation quality
• Summarize complex technical content in concise, structured formats
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear reasoning, or unsupported claims

Ideal Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) or equivalent experience in a technical or quantitative field
• Strong foundation in academic research, experimental design, algorithm evaluation, or statistical methods
• Demonstrated ability to critically assess academic and research writing
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills
• Comfortable working independently in remote, detail-oriented environments
