Accountant | $20–60/hr | Worldwide Remote

MICRO1 is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our remote team on a contract basis. This is a generalist finance role ideal for a self-motivated professional with broad accounting expertise and the ability to work across multiple regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and deliver financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle tax preparation in compliance with applicable regulations
• Support and coordinate audit processes as needed
• Ensure regulatory compliance across US, UK, Canada, Europe, and LATAM jurisdictions
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders
• Contribute to AI and technology-driven finance projects

Required Skills

• Strong accounting expertise and financial acumen
• Proficiency in financial reporting and tax preparation
• Familiarity with multi-regional regulatory compliance (US, UK, CAN, Europe, LATAM)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with AI or technology-focused projects is a plus

This is a fully remote, contract position open to qualified candidates worldwide. Compensation ranges from $20 to $60 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
