This short-term, flexible contract role is ideal for seasoned CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and experienced U.S. tax professionals who excel at reviewing federal and state tax returns and delivering clear, actionable insights.

• Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and review a range of U.S. tax returns (federal and state) and related forms.
  • Extract and document concise insights, including filing status, income sources, deductions, credits, and year-over-year changes.
  • Create verification checklists and follow-up questions to ensure accuracy and resolve ambiguities.
  • Identify anomalies, edge cases, and unusual tax scenarios across various filing situations.
• Qualifications:
  • CPA or EA designation with 7+ years of hands-on U.S. tax preparation experience across multiple states.
  • Expertise in Form 1040, related schedules, and state equivalents.
  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and deliver high-quality documentation.
