The Role
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant with a customer service mindset to support the Finance function of IFT as it facilitates the organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable activities across multiple entities and currencies
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and bank reconciliations
- Serve as a key point of contact for Core Contributors, handling invoice submissions and expense queries
- Collaborate with the Treasury team on executing regular payment runs (fiat and crypto)
- Contribute to the quality of financial data and the efficiency of the month-end close
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in accounts payable and general bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail, especially in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and process management abilities
- Basic understanding of intercompany transactions and multi-currency accounting
- Interest in or basic knowledge of crypto accounting

Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Iplicit, Expensify, and/or Cryptio
- Experience in and passion for blockchain technology
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, etc.) or progress towards one
