The Role
We're seeking individuals with a passion for linguistics, a talent for descriptive and nuanced writing, and a keen ear for audio content analysis. If you excel in English reading, writing, and comprehension, this position could be ideal for you.
The work primarily involves detailed audio clip annotations. This is a temporary, project-based role with the potential to extend over several months, depending on client needs.
System Requirements
Your computer must meet these minimum specifications:
- Internet speed: 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload
- Processor: Dual-core with hyper-threading
- RAM: 8GB
- High-quality microphone with clear audio capture
- Backup power supply if your area experiences frequent power interruptions
Role Requirements
Successful candidates must:
- Possess professional-level English reading, writing, and excellent auditory comprehension skills
- Have a combination of education and professional/practical experience in fields such as speech pathology, phonology, phonetics, sociolinguistics, American Literature, creative writing, social work, cultural anthropology, acting, accent coaching, audiology, communications, music/sound design, or related areas
- Be capable of producing high-quality data annotations based on diverse audio content
- Be available for up to 40 hours per week (preferred)

As an Advanced/Expert AI Data Trainer, you will use style guides and relevant resources to:
- Describe audio clips based on a list of characteristics/attributes categories
- Write justifications to explain your reasoning

- Type: Hourly
- Rate: Up to $24/hour
Work Hours:
- Flexible availability and daily hours
- Minimum of 20 hours/week strongly preferred by our client
