Advanced Git Specialist | $90–120/hr | Worldwide Remote

We're seeking experienced engineers who excel at reviewing, maintaining, and troubleshooting live repositories. This role requires deep Git expertise and the ability to debug complex repository states while ensuring zero data loss.

Who You Are

• An experienced software engineer with a proven track record of contributing to and reviewing code in production repositories
• Comfortable reasoning about Git internals and advanced version control concepts at a deep technical level
• Adept at debugging repository states, resolving merge conflicts, and fixing broken histories without data loss
• Skilled at analyzing complex branching strategies and repository architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of Git internals, including objects, refs, and the reflog
• Experience with repository recovery and history rewriting techniques
• Bonus: Background in code review processes or AI/LLM model evaluation
