Aerodynamics Writer – Engineering FRQ | $85/hr | Worldwide Remote

Join a cutting-edge AI benchmarking initiative as a senior aerodynamics expert. Your mission: craft the hardest reasoning questions in the field — problems so rigorous that today's most advanced AI models still fail to solve them correctly.

What You'll Do

• Author original, free-response engineering problems grounded in real-world industry scenarios
• Write complete, expert-level solutions for each problem you create
• Validate difficulty by testing each question against three frontier AI language models, confirming at least one model fails
• Contribute to a high-quality benchmark dataset that pushes the boundaries of AI reasoning in engineering

Requirements

• PhD in Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in thermofluids or aerodynamics
• 5+ years of hands-on professional or industry experience in one or more of the following: external aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), wind tunnel testing, propulsion, or vehicle aerodynamics
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
• Experience at well-known or blue-chip employers is preferred
