Aerospace CAD Expert | $40–80/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace CAD Expert to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of CAD tools and aerospace engineering principles to analyze complex assemblies, produce technical documentation, and support high-quality design workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and analyze multi-part aerospace assemblies using FreeCAD and other CAD tools
• Interpret and validate technical drawings to ensure accuracy and standards compliance
• Author clear, precise technical documentation and Q&A materials for engineering teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and designers to support project goals
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to relevant aerospace and industrial design standards
• Communicate findings and updates effectively through both written and verbal channels

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), with hands-on experience in FreeCAD
• Strong background in mechanical engineering and aerospace assemblies
• Experience with technical drawing interpretation and multi-part assembly analysis
• Excellent technical writing skills, including question and answer authoring
• Familiarity with industrial design principles and standards compliance
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communicator with proven collaboration abilities in remote settings
