AI Language Annotator (Turkish – Turkey)

About the Role:
Mercor is seeking native Turkish-speaking Language Annotators for a short-term project with a leading AI research lab. You'll help train AI models by annotating Turkish text, image, and video data and providing cultural context.
Key Responsibilities:
Annotate text, images, and video according to detailed guidelines, applying your cultural knowledge of Turkish.
Use analytical skills to complete tasks such as marking correct phrases, summarizing content, or copying handwriting.
Evaluate AI-generated text for factual accuracy and contextual relevance.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience as a professional translator.
Professional writing experience (historian, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in humanities, writing, or cultural studies.
Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.
Currently based in Turkey.
Role Highlights:
Fully remote and asynchronous—work around your own schedule.
Minimum commitment: 15 hours per week.
Project duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks.
Desktop or laptop computer required (Chromebooks not accepted).
Compensation & Legal Details:
Competitive, market-based hourly rate.
Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
You will be classified as an "at-will" contractor.
