AI Language Annotator (Vietnamese – Vietnam)

About the Role:
Mercor is hiring native Vietnamese-speaking Language Annotators for a short-term project in partnership with a leading AI research lab. You'll play a key role in training AI models to better understand Vietnamese through annotation of text, image, and video data.
Key Responsibilities:
Annotate text, images, and video following clear guidelines, using your knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture.
Apply analytical skills to perform tasks such as identifying phrases, summarizing ideas, or copying handwriting.
Evaluate whether AI-generated content is factually accurate and contextually correct.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience as a professional translator.
Professional writing experience (historian, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in humanities, writing, or cultural studies.
Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.
Currently based in Vietnam.
Role Highlights:
Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
Minimum commitment: 15 hours per week.
Project duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks.
Desktop or laptop computer required (Chromebooks not accepted).
Compensation & Legal Details:
Market-competitive hourly rate.
Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
You will be classified as an "at-will" contractor.
