AI Tutor – Finance Specialist (Full-Time)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $35–$65 per hour (USD), based on knowledge, skills, education, and experience
Work Schedule: Full-time (9–5:30pm in your local time zone; flexible hours available)

About the Role:
As an AI Tutor – Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing xAI’s technology by delivering high-quality data, expert input, and labels using specialized software. You’ll work closely with technical teams to support the training of AI models and contribute to building annotation tools. Your day-to-day includes selecting and solving complex problems in advanced finance fields—such as investment analysis, equities, commodities, real estate, fixed income, forex, derivatives, and accounting—while helping to ensure model performance and accuracy.
You’ll also:
Annotate and label data in text, voice, and video formats (including, at times, recording audio or participating in video sessions)
Provide detailed feedback and solutions for sophisticated finance problems
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to refine annotation tools and training data
Interpret and execute a range of evolving tasks based on technical instructions
Key Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD in a finance-related field (Finance, Economics, Business Administration with a finance focus, or similar) OR equivalent professional experience (e.g. investment analyst specializing in equity, commodities, real estate, fixed income, or accounting)
Proficiency in both informal and professional English (reading and writing)
Strong research skills and familiarity with financial data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, SEC filings)
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
Capacity to exercise judgment and autonomy—even with limited information
Passion for technology and finance innovation
Preferred:
Professional experience as an investment analyst, portfolio/wealth manager, or financial consultant
Published research in finance/economics journals
Teaching/tutoring experience in finance
Corporate accountant (CPA) or CFA Charterholder
Additional Requirements:
Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed
Comfortable adapting to new skills and dynamic environments
Must own a compatible computer (Chromebook, MacOS 11.0+, or Windows 10+)
Reliable access to a smartphone
Compensation & Benefits:
$35–$65 per hour (actual pay based on skills, education, experience)
