About the Role:
Mercor is seeking experienced Airline Pilots, Copilots, and Flight Engineers to contribute to a major AI research initiative. You’ll leverage your aviation knowledge to design and review scenarios and questions based on your real-world experience—helping to train next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate realistic, occupation-based questions and scenarios relevant to aviation operations and safety.

• Apply your flight operations expertise to ensure content accuracy and depth.

• Collaborate asynchronously—work when it fits your schedule.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of full-time experience as an airline pilot, copilot, or flight engineer.

• Based in the US, UK, or Canada.

• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).

Project Details:

• Commitment: Minimum 15 hours per week.

• Duration: 3–4 weeks, starting after project onboarding.

• Asynchronous and flexible work style.

Compensation & Legal Details:

• Competitive, market-based hourly pay.

• Weekly payment via Stripe Connect.

• Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
