About the Role:
We are seeking Analytical Chemistry Specialists who are deeply knowledgeable in fields such as spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemical analysis, quantitative chemical analysis, environmental testing, pharmaceutical analysis, and analytical method development. You will challenge and enhance advanced language models across diverse topics, including:
Mass Spectrometry
HPLC and GC Technique Optimization
NMR Interpretation
Method Validation
Trace Analysis
Titrimetric Methods
QA/QC Protocol Design
Typical Day-to-Day Activities:
Engaging in dynamic interactions with AI models by simulating real lab scenarios and theoretical analytical chemistry questions.
Assessing and ensuring the factual accuracy and logical consistency of model outputs.
Identifying and documenting reproducible errors to refine model reasoning.
Collaborating to improve prompt engineering techniques and evaluation criteria.
What We're Looking For:
Master’s or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related chemical science field.
Proven experience indicated by peer-reviewed publications, lab-based method development, regulatory testing, or instrumentation-intensive research.
Clear, structured communication skills with a focus on detailed explanation and critical thinking ("showing your work").
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $8 - $65 USD (based on experience, expertise, and geographic location)
Contractor position; applicants must provide their own secure computer and high-speed internet. (Note: Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO are not included.)
