Join Mercor as an Audio AI Writing Specialist and play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge audio AI research. This short-term, flexible contract is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong writing skills and a passion for instructional clarity.

• Design and Optimize Prompts: Develop detailed audio prompts with specific constraints and instructions.
• Define Evaluation Standards: Establish comprehensive rubrics and high-level expectations for model responses in audio consumer contexts.
• Model Testing and Grading: Test prompts with language models and assess outputs against established standards.
• Benchmarking & Quality Assurance: Collaborate in QA processes to ensure consistency and reliability of tasks and rubrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS or BA from a reputable institution (completed or in progress)
• Exceptional writing and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar AI tools

Preferred: 2+ years of teaching or research experience.
