Join Mercor and a leading AI research group as an Audio Tutor, playing a pivotal role in training advanced AI systems to understand and generate high-quality audio and voice outputs. This full-time opportunity is ideal for audio professionals passionate about merging creativity, technology, and sound engineering to shape the future of AI-powered auditory systems.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Label, annotate, and evaluate audio clips and voice recordings using proprietary tools.
  • Deliver curated, high-quality datasets for AI model training.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance voice and sound processing capabilities.
  • Develop tasks and test sets to improve AI performance in voice modulation, noise reduction, and sound design.
  • Support the refinement of annotation tools and workflows.
• Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Communications, or related fields.
  • Professional vocal presence and experience in audio post-production, sound design, or podcasting.
  • Proficiency with audio enhancement tools and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Preferred: Portfolio of professional audio work and experience in broadcasting, studio recording, or audio critique.
• Additional Details:
  • Work remotely or from Palo Alto, CA.
  • Initial schedule: 9:00am–5:30pm PST for two weeks, then local timezone.
  • Device requirements: Chromebook, Mac (macOS 11+), or Windows 10+; smartphone access needed.
  • US applicants must reside outside Wyoming and Illinois. No visa sponsorship available.
