B2B Sales Expert at Mercor

B2B Sales Expert | $100–150/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research organization to bring on experienced B2B sales professionals for an exciting evaluation project. In this role, you won't be closing deals — you'll be defining what excellent sales work looks like by designing grading criteria and scoring AI-generated and human work samples with rigorous, well-reasoned justifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for real-world B2B sales deliverables, including prospecting sequences, outreach emails, discovery and demo call plans, account and territory plans, proposals, mutual action plans, and pipeline/forecast reviews
• Score AI-generated and human work samples against defined criteria, providing detailed written justifications for every score
• Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible
• Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on your evaluations

Ideal Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional B2B sales experience, including quota-carrying roles
• Background as an Account Executive (AE) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) selling into large enterprises
• Deep fluency in outbound prospecting, discovery and qualification, multi-stakeholder deal management, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and structured sales methodologies
• Exceptionally strong written communication skills — able to articulate precisely why a piece of work would or would not resonate with a real buyer
• Detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable having your judgment reviewed and calibrated against peers
• Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects is a strong plus
