This full-time role is ideal for experienced backend engineers passionate about shaping the future of AI by curating advanced coding datasets, benchmarking model outputs, and enhancing AI reasoning in software development.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Curate, annotate, and evaluate code examples across languages such as Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
  • Refine AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI-driven coding solutions and benchmark LLM performance.
  • Support training initiatives by enhancing annotation tools, workflows, and data quality.
  • Develop coding tasks and datasets to challenge and improve model reasoning.
• Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Deep understanding of database optimization and web security principles.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous processing, background job systems, and testing frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker, TypeScript, or React.
• Additional Details: Remote or Palo Alto, CA (in-office optional). Schedule starts PST, then aligns with your local timezone. U.S. applicants must reside outside Wyoming and Illinois. No visa sponsorship available.
• Compensation: $45–100/hr for U.S.-based professionals; international rates available. Independent contractor role with regular payments.
