Bilingual Croatian AI Safety Expert | $38–42/hr | Remote (Eastern Europe Preferred)

Join Mercor in a meaningful part-time role helping make advanced AI models safer and more culturally aware. We're looking for proficient bilingual speakers (Croatian & English) to evaluate and improve how AI systems handle sensitive topics in Croatian. No prior AI or machine learning experience is needed — full training is provided.

What You'll Do

• Write expert-level prompts in Croatian across a range of sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations accurately.
• Identify adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, documenting clear reasoning behind your judgments.

What We're Looking For

• Native or near-native fluency in Croatian, with business-level written English.
• A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Strong written reasoning skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Sound, nuanced judgment when handling sensitive or dual-use information.

Nice to Have

• Based in Croatia or the broader Eastern Europe region (preferred, not required).
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
