Bilingual German Legal Expert | $80–90/hr | Remote

Mercor is seeking native German-speaking legal professionals to help train advanced AI models in the legal domain. This contract role is ideal for experienced lawyers based in Germany who possess both legal expertise and exceptional bilingual communication skills.

• Legal Content Development: Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex legal concepts, ensuring content accurately reflects German laws, processes, and terminology.
• Bilingual Communication: Write fluently in both German and English, maintaining precise legal terminology and nuanced expression.
• Domain Expertise: Provide cultural and legal insights specific to the German legal system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with peers and reviewers to refine content and ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

• Native-level fluency in German and strong English skills.
• Advanced degree in Law.
• 2–6+ years of legal practice in Germany.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with assessment or rubric development and familiarity with AI models is a plus.

This is a remote, asynchronous contract role requiring at least 20 hours per week for approximately 2 months. Work on your own schedule within a structured project environment.
