Mercor is seeking bilingual English–Spanish language experts to evaluate AI-generated Spanish content for a leading AI research organization. This remote, project-based role focuses on ensuring translations reflect natural, fluent Spanish as used in Spain, supporting the development of culturally accurate AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated Spanish translations for fluency and accuracy
• Identify unnatural phrasing and provide idiomatic alternatives that reflect contemporary Spanish usage
• Detect and correct mistranslations, ambiguity, and tone inconsistencies
• Ensure content aligns with regional norms and language standards in Spain
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic quality and localization

Ideal Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish (Spain) and English
• 1+ years of experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reading comprehension
• Ability to communicate effectively through written feedback
• Familiarity with regional Spanish variations and contemporary usage
