Bilingual Norwegian AI Safety Expert | $58–62/hr | Remote (Norway Preferred)

Mercor is seeking proficient bilingual speakers fluent in both English and Norwegian to help make advanced AI models safer and more reliable. In this role, you'll apply your language expertise and cultural judgment to evaluate how AI systems handle sensitive topics in Norwegian. No prior AI or machine learning experience is necessary — full training on the workflow is provided.

What You'll Do

• Write expert-level prompts in Norwegian across a range of sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and AI-generated conversations.
• Identify adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, documenting clear reasoning behind your evaluations.

What We're Looking For

• Native or near-native fluency in Norwegian, with business-level written English.
• A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Strong written reasoning skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive or dual-use information.

Nice to Have

• Based in Norway (preferred but not required — applicants elsewhere are welcome).
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.

Start date: Immediate. This is a part-time contractor engagement with competitive hourly compensation.
