Bilingual Writer – Mandarin Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) | $18/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking native Traditional Mandarin Chinese speakers to support the development of a next-generation AI voice assistant, in collaboration with a leading AI research lab. This is a short-term, task-based contract role where you'll interact with AI using everyday voice commands, then evaluate and log the results.

Key Responsibilities

• Use voice commands to compose messages, emails, and notes across common productivity apps
• Direct the AI to perform actions such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, and summarizing documents
• Record accurate transcripts of spoken queries and produce cleaned-up written versions
• Rate and evaluate the AI's responses for quality and accuracy
• Log all task data in a structured tracking sheet and upload supporting recordings to a shared drive

Ideal Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Traditional Mandarin Chinese (raised or native to Taiwan preferred)
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
• Must own a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, or M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer
• Regular use of common productivity tools including email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and browsers
• Comfortable with detailed, structured data entry and self-directed quality review
