Bioinformatics ML Expert | $150–200/hr | Worldwide Remote | Short-Term Contract

Join a cutting-edge biotech initiative as a project-based Machine Learning expert specializing in bioinformatics. Over the next 2–3 weeks, you'll tackle high-impact problems at the intersection of ML and biological data — working asynchronously on your own schedule with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Develop and refine machine learning models applied to biological datasets
• Build and optimize data pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic, or multi-omics analysis
• Conduct independent research tasks on real-world biotech problems
• Deliver project-based work asynchronously, with tasks assigned on a rolling basis

Required Qualifications

• Published researcher with at least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal
• Demonstrated expertise in both machine learning and bioinformatics (e.g., sequence analysis, genomics, transcriptomics, or related domains)
• Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently on complex technical tasks
