Biology Expert at Mercor

Biology Expert | $40–60/hr | Remote US & Canada

Mercor is seeking Biology undergraduates or master's students to join a high-impact project with a leading AI lab. In this contractor role, you will leverage your biology expertise to curate challenging domain-specific problems that will help shape the future of AI models.

• Contribute 15–20 hours per week (with potential to extend up to 40+ hours) on a fully remote, asynchronous schedule.
• Collaborate with a world-class team to create high-quality data for state-of-the-art large language models.
• Applicants must be pursuing or hold a biology-related degree from a top US or Canadian university, or have at least 1 year of full-time biology experience in the US or Canada.
• Excellent English proficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication skills required.
• Project duration is a minimum of 1–2 months, with weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
• Screening includes a brief AI interview and written form (20–30 minutes).
