Biology Expert (PhD) | $50–80/hr | Remote: US, CA, EU

Mercor is seeking accomplished Biology PhDs to join a high-impact project with a leading AI lab. In this role, you will leverage your subject matter expertise to curate complex biological problems and contribute to the advancement of state-of-the-art large language models.

• Collaborate on the creation of high-quality data sets to inform AI innovation.
• Work fully remotely and asynchronously, contributing 10–20 hours per week, with potential for up to 40+ hours.
• Engage in a project expected to last at least 1–2 months, with rolling application review.
• Be compensated as an hourly contractor, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.

Requirements:

• PhD in Biology from a top US, Canadian, or European university.
• Undergraduate degree from a top US, Canadian, or European university.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Applicants must be based in the US, Canada, or Europe.
