Turing is seeking a skilled Biology Expert with graduate-level expertise to help fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs). In this freelance role, you'll design challenging biology problems, develop rigorous solutions, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance across complex scientific domains.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and solve challenging Biology problems to probe the limitations of large language models.
• Develop high-quality, step-by-step solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals, particularly in areas where models struggle — such as conceptual abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and data interpretation.
• Contribute to defining new evaluation benchmarks spanning early undergraduate to PhD-level Biology topics.

• Skilled at explaining Biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, or simulations as needed.
