About the Role

Mercor partners with leading AI labs to evaluate and benchmark AI models in the biological sciences. As a consultant, you will assess AI capabilities in understanding and troubleshooting biological research protocols, helping to identify and mitigate potential experimental failures.

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to scale up to 40 hours
• Fully remote and asynchronous work environment
• Initial 1–2 month contract, with opportunities for extension
• Hourly contractor status, paid weekly via Stripe Connect

Who Should Apply

• PhD students, postdocs, or research scientists in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of wet lab experience
• Strong familiarity with research methods and protocols
