Business Analyst - Japanese at Turing

Business Analyst (Japanese) | AI Training Support | Remote Contractor | 30–40 hrs/week

Turing is seeking a bilingual Business Analyst fluent in English and Japanese to support the development and improvement of large language models (LLMs). This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for analytical professionals who want to build hands-on expertise in applied AI.

Based in San Francisco, Turing is the world's leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, summarize, and break down complex content into clear logical components
• Conduct online research to validate information and claims
• Solve analytical and logical reasoning problems
• Create high-quality AI training scenarios with detailed explanations
• Provide structured feedback and annotations to improve model performance

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in both English and Japanese (mandatory)
• Strong analytical, research, and logical reasoning skills
• Excellent written communication skills in both languages
• Reliable desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field
• Professional experience in research, business analysis, journalism, technical writing, editing, or translation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
• Strong data interpretation and basic quantitative skills
