Business Analyst (RLHF/Audio) – Spanish/Castilian | Contractor | Worldwide Remote
Turing is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Business Analyst to support AI training initiatives through audio transcription, annotation, and quality analysis. This is a 10-week pilot contract with potential for extension, requiring up to 40 hours per week with a 4-hour overlap with Pacific Time.

Role Overview
This role is critical in fine-tuning and improving large language models (LLMs). You will leverage your analytical and bilingual skills to transcribe, annotate, and validate audio content — helping shape the next generation of AI systems. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content following provided syntax and formatting guidelines.
- Annotate non-verbal cues such as pauses, laughter, tone changes, and background reactions to capture full context.
- Review and edit transcriptions to ensure they are contextually accurate, complete, and compliant with project-specific standards.
- Identify and report inconsistencies or ambiguities in speech or annotation, providing clear feedback for quality improvement.
- Deliver high-quality audio files on time and in the correct format.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high transcription and annotation accuracy.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish/Castilian is mandatory.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
- Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Availability of up to 40 hours per week with a 4-hour overlap with PT timezone.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with audio-related RLHF tasks and/or voice acting is highly desirable.
- Professional writing experience (e.g., business analyst, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, translator).
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
- Strong data interpretation, logical reasoning, and basic arithmetic skills.
