Mercor is seeking UK-based top business school graduates and faculty to contribute to a high-impact research project with a leading foundational AI lab. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your academic expertise in shaping the next generation of frontier AI systems.

About the Role

You will help create, review, and simulate realistic business case study scenarios, drawing on your academic background and industry specialization. Your contributions will directly support the development of high-quality AI training data.

Ideal Candidate Background

We are looking for candidates with experience from Harvard Business School or Stanford Graduate School of Business, though we also welcome applicants from top UK institutions, including:

• Saïd Business School – University of Oxford
• Judge Business School – University of Cambridge
• Imperial College Business School
• Warwick Business School

Eligible Roles & Titles

• Research Associate or Research Fellow
• Graduate Researcher
• Assistant, Associate, Full, or Distinguished Professor (US)
• Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Professor, or Named Chair (UK)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review business case study materials for AI training datasets
• Simulate realistic academic and industry business scenarios
• Conduct research in line with academic standards
• Contribute up to 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing and publishing business case studies for business schools is highly preferred
• Comfortable working in an academic research environment
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
