This remote, flexible engagement allows you to contribute your procurement expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working independently on your own schedule.

About the Role

This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real procurement challenges within your domain. You'll create deliverables for common purchasing requests and review peer-developed work to improve AI research outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in buying, purchasing, or procurement
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills

Opportunity Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule
• Expected workload: ~30 hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours
• Project duration: 3-4 weeks, starting immediately

Compensation & Contract Terms

• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor
• Hourly compensation: $60-80/hour, paid weekly via Stripe Connect
• Payments based on services rendered; contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods
