CAD and Engineering Expert at Turing

What does day-to-day look like:

• Task 1: Image Annotation: Create precise bounding box annotations on high-resolution screenshots using the GHD platform. You will identify and label minuscule UI elements (icons, buttons, text fields) within professional software interfaces.
• Tasks 2 & 3: Workflow Recording: Use a custom capture tool to record 10-minute "journeys" (multi-step professional workflows).
• Staging & Environment Setup: Follow strict "Staging Instructions" to arrange windows, files, and UI states before recording.
• System Integrity: Create and use a dedicated Mac profile and a provided Gmail account for tool authentication.

Candidate Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following CAD or engineering tools:
  • AutoCAD Mechanical (2019)
  • SolidWorks Premium (2018 x64)
  • Autodesk Inventor Professional (2019)
  • Xilinx Vivado (2018.3)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design or hardware development workflows
• Ability to recognize CAD features, constraints, assemblies, schematics, and build outputs
• High attention to detail and spatial/visual awareness
• Comfortable working with screen recordings and annotation platforms
• Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain consistency
