CAD Data Generation & Validation Specialist (FreeCAD) | $40–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled CAD Data Generation & Validation Specialist with hands-on experience in FreeCAD and Python to support a cutting-edge software engineering initiative. This contractor role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineering professional who thrives at the intersection of mechanical design, parametric modeling, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and validate CAD data using FreeCAD and Python-based scripting
• Develop and maintain parametric models aligned with mechanical and industrial engineering standards
• Perform thorough CAD validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to engineering documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align CAD outputs with manufacturing processes
• Maintain clear, organized engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in FreeCAD and Python scripting for CAD automation
• Strong background in Parametric Modeling and mechanical design
• Experience with CAD validation and quality assurance workflows
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering principles
• Familiarity with GD&T standards and engineering documentation best practices
