If you're a seasoned mechanical design professional who thrives on hard problems, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI evaluation in engineering.

What You'll Do

• Author original, expert-level free-response engineering problems rooted in real-world industry scenarios
• Write complete, detailed expert solutions for each problem you create
• Validate question difficulty by testing against three frontier AI language models — problems must stump at least one
• Ensure questions span core mechanical design disciplines including GD&T, tolerance stacks, DFM, and drawing release

Who We're Looking For

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Design (CSWP/CSWE certification is a plus)
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in production design roles with full design ownership
• Demonstrated expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFM, and formal drawing release processes
• Experience at well-known or blue-chip employers is strongly preferred

Important Note

Pure analysis or simulation roles — such as running FEA without ever owning or releasing drawings — do not qualify. We're looking for engineers who have truly owned designs end-to-end in a production environment.
