CAD & Simulation Engineer – Aerospace | Contractor | 40 hrs/week | Remote with PST Overlap

Turing is seeking an experienced CAD & Simulation Engineer for a short-term aerospace project. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned aerospace engineering professional to apply deep expertise in CAD modeling and simulation workflows in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD models and perform simulation and analysis for aerospace components
• Validate designs using industry-standard tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB
• Translate technical requirements into accurate simulation models and workflows
• Optimize designs based on simulation outcomes and engineering analysis
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
• Document methodologies, processes, and results thoroughly

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD engineering and simulation-focused roles
• Strong proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB)
• Solid aerospace and mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with modeling, simulation, and design projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Prior experience with leading aerospace or engineering companies is highly preferred

Contract Details:

• Hours: 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours PST overlap required
• Employment Type: Contractor assignment (no medical or paid leave benefits)
• Duration: 4 weeks, with an expected start date of next week
