CAM Programmer at micro1

CAM Programmer | $25–50/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC toolpaths using Fusion 360, supporting multi-axis machining operations, and ensuring high-quality output through careful simulation and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CAM programs using Fusion 360 for a variety of machining projects
• Program and manage multi-axis CNC operations to maximize efficiency and precision
• Create and refine toolpath strategies tailored to specific materials and part geometries
• Run simulations to verify toolpaths and identify potential issues before production
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the programming and review process
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Fusion 360 CAM module
• Experience with multi-axis CNC programming
• Strong understanding of toolpath strategy and simulation techniques
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
