Join MICRO1 as a remote Certified Public Accountant specializing in US tax law and individual tax compliance. This contractor role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with deep expertise in IRS regulations and the Internal Revenue Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) in compliance with US federal tax law
• Interpret and apply provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) to client situations
• Review legal and financial documents for tax accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with IRS processes and correspondence as needed
• Provide expert guidance on US tax obligations and planning strategies

Required Skills & Experience

• Active CPA certification
• Strong working knowledge of US Tax Law and the Internal Revenue Code (IRC)
• Hands-on experience preparing Form 1040 individual tax returns
• Proficiency in legal document review within a tax context
• Familiarity with IRS procedures, notices, and compliance requirements
