Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) in compliance with US federal tax law
- Interpret and apply provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) to client situations
- Review legal and financial documents for tax accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with IRS processes and correspondence as needed
- Provide expert guidance on US tax obligations and planning strategies
Required Skills & Experience
- Active CPA certification
- Strong working knowledge of US Tax Law and the Internal Revenue Code (IRC)
- Hands-on experience preparing Form 1040 individual tax returns
- Proficiency in legal document review within a tax context
- Familiarity with IRS procedures, notices, and compliance requirements
