Child & Online Safety Expert | $50–90/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Child & Online Safety Expert to help shape and enforce policies that protect children and teens in digital environments. This is a critical role for a mission-driven specialist with deep expertise in child safety, CSAM-adjacent policy, and crisis care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and refine child and teen safety policies for online platforms
• Provide expert guidance on CSAM-adjacent content moderation and policy enforcement
• Support crisis-care frameworks and mental health response protocols for at-risk youth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with trust & safety, legal, and product teams
• Identify emerging threats to child safety online and recommend proactive measures

Required Skills & Experience

• Child Safety — deep understanding of child protection standards and best practices
• CSAM-Adjacent Policy — experience navigating sensitive content policy and compliance
• Teen Safety — familiarity with risks specific to adolescent online behavior
• Crisis-Care — ability to design or evaluate crisis intervention workflows
• Mental Health Awareness — sensitivity to mental health considerations in safety policy
