Chinese Language Consultant | $28–33/hr | Remote

Join Mercor and a leading AI startup as a Chinese Language Consultant, where you'll play a key role in evaluating and refining AI-generated image and video content based on Chinese prompts. This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity for professionals fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with a passion for language, culture, and cutting-edge AI technology.

• Review and critique AI-generated images and videos for fluency, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
• Provide detailed feedback to guide improvements in AI model outputs.
• Identify and correct translation issues and culturally sensitive inaccuracies.
• Experiment with multimodal AI tools like Gemini to test prompt performance and document inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance model quality and performance.

Qualifications:

• Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Deep understanding of Chinese culture and language nuances
• Familiarity with contemporary Chinese media and pop culture
• Interest in generative AI and visual content evaluation
• Experience in translation, content evaluation, or linguistic review is a plus

Details: Immediate start, 5-week contract (with possible extension), part-time (minimum 10 hours/week), fully remote and asynchronous. Compensation is $28–33/hr as an independent contractor, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
