Mercor is partnering with a leading academic research group to support high-stakes technical documentation projects. We're seeking experienced professionals with backgrounds in biomedical research, clinical reporting, or scientific publishing to analyze complex data and craft rigorous technical summaries.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity (10–20 hours/week) ideal for experts who want to engage with cutting-edge research on their own schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review clinical reports, technical reviews, and grant proposals for clarity and methodological rigor
- Evaluate experimental methodologies and assess their validity in supporting outcome claims
- Draft concise, technical summaries of research methods and findings
- Provide structured analytical responses to specific research prompts
- Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators to maintain quality standards
Ideal Qualifications:
- Advanced degree required: MPH, PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master's in a relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in academic publishing, research analysis, or clinical data interpretation
- Proven ability to synthesize and critically assess complex research data
- Exceptional technical writing and analytical reasoning skills
Compensation & Terms:
- $60/hour for U.S.-based professionals (rates vary by location)
- Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
- Independent contractor position
- Fully remote and asynchronous work
