CNC Machinist | $25–50/hr | Remote Contract

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on specialist with a strong background in machine operation, precision measurement, and technical troubleshooting — including those with a Haas and hobbyist crossover background.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts and components
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy
• Perform precision measurements to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Apply knowledge of Haas CNC systems and hobbyist-level machining techniques where applicable

Required Skills

• Machine Set-Up & Operation: Proven experience setting up and running CNC machines in a production or workshop environment
• Haas + Hobbyist Crossover: Familiarity with Haas CNC controllers alongside hands-on hobbyist machining experience
• Precision Measurement & Blueprint Interpretation: Proficiency with measurement tools and the ability to read technical drawings accurately
• Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve machining issues quickly

Compensation

$25–$50 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
