Computational Biology Expert | $40–60/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled Computational Biology Expert to join our team as a specialist contractor. This role sits at the intersection of applied engineering and life sciences, requiring deep expertise in bioinformatics, genomics, and AI/ML evaluation. You will contribute to cutting-edge research and analysis in a fully remote, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NGS pipelines for genomic and transcriptomic data analysis
• Perform bioinformatics analysis using tools such as BWA, GATK, STAR, Salmon, Seurat, and Scanpy
• Apply structural biology methods including AlphaFold and PyMOL for protein structure analysis
• Conduct systems biology and multi-omics data integration tasks
• Evaluate and validate AI/ML models in biological contexts
• Communicate findings clearly through written reports and verbal presentations
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to drive scientific insights
