Key Responsibilities

• Apply computational biology expertise to support and advance scientific research workflows
• Write, debug, and maintain Python code across large, complex codebases
• Leverage AI coding agents — including Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork — to accelerate development and problem-solving
• Design and optimize research workflows for efficiency and reproducibility
• Produce clear, thorough technical documentation for tools, pipelines, and processes
• Communicate findings and technical concepts effectively in both written and verbal formats

Required Skills

• Strong background in computational biology
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with AI coding agents (Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, Claude Cowork)
• Skilled in debugging and navigating large codebases
• Ability to create high-quality technical documentation
