We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Chemistry Expert with a PhD to join our team as a specialist contractor. This role is ideal for a scientist with deep expertise in molecular simulations, electronic structure methods, and AI/ML-assisted chemistry workflows who thrives in a remote, applied engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute molecular simulations and computational chemistry workflows using industry-standard tools
• Apply electronic structure methods to solve complex chemical problems
• Develop and maintain scientific software configurations and pipelines
• Support drug discovery initiatives through cheminformatics and molecular dynamics approaches
• Integrate AI/ML techniques into chemistry workflows to accelerate research outcomes
• Perform quantitative analysis and communicate findings clearly through written reports and verbal presentations
• Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, results, and processes

Required Skills & Tools

• Simulation Platforms: GROMACS, LAMMPS, AMBER, ORCA, PSI4, NWChem, Gaussian
• Cheminformatics: RDKit, OpenBabel
• Programming: Python (scientific computing)
• Domains: Molecular dynamics, electronic structure theory, drug discovery, AI/ML-assisted chemistry
• Soft Skills: Analytical reasoning, problem-solving, strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Chemistry, Chemical Physics, or a closely related field
