Turing is seeking detail-oriented Content Analysts to annotate and review video captions for AI training purposes. This is a short-term freelance engagement (1 month) ideal for writers, editors, or journalists looking to contribute to cutting-edge AI development from the comfort of their home.

What You'll Do

• Review and annotate video captions for contextual accuracy, grammar, and alignment with content guidelines.
• Identify inconsistencies or areas for improvement in captioning and provide detailed, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high-quality standards in caption annotation and content accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, or a related field.
• Fluent English with strong comprehension and editorial skills.
• Excellent analytical and research abilities to evaluate content quality.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable desktop/laptop and internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional writing experience (copywriting, journalism, technical writing, editing, translation, etc.).

Engagement Details

• Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week (options: 20, 30, or 40 hrs/week); at least 4 hrs/day with 4-hour PST overlap required.
• Type: Freelance contractor (no medical or paid leave benefits).
• Duration: 1 month.
• Eligible Locations: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico.

Evaluation Process

• Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant writing experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will complete an analytical challenge (~45 min) and a writing assessment (~30 min).
