Content Writer (French) | Contractor | Fully Remote | AI Training Data

Turing is seeking a bilingual Content Writer (English & French) to create and refine content used in AI training workflows, evaluation scenarios, and large language model (LLM) development. This is a fully remote contractor role with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week and 4 hours of daily overlap with PST (UTC-8).

Role Overview

In this role, you will create realistic content samples, review AI-generated outputs, and ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across a variety of formats used in LLM training and evaluation pipelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Create and edit content across formats including articles, guides, workflows, and evaluation scenarios.
  • Recreate real-world content workflows for AI evaluation purposes.
  • Review AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and guideline adherence.
  • Provide structured feedback and annotations to support LLM improvement.
  • Collaborate with product and AI teams to align content with operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (reading and writing at a high level of comprehension).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or Technical Writer.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify content gaps and inconsistencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field (candidates without a degree but with relevant experience are welcome).
  • Familiarity with documentation or workflow tools such as Confluence, Notion, Zendesk, or Jira.
  • Experience creating datasets for LLMs (prompt writing, SFT, RLHF, eval benchmarks, red teaming, QA).
  • Comfort with structured formats and tools: JSON, Google Colab/Jupyter notebooks, Excel/Google Sheets, and Slack.

Engagement Details

  • Type: Contractor/Freelancer (no medical or paid leave benefits)
  • Commitment: Minimum 40 hours/week with at least 4 hours/day overlap with PST
  • Duration: 1 month, with potential for extension based on performance

Evaluation Process

Applicants will complete a business writing assessment in English followed by a French language proficiency assessment. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Turing team for onboarding.
