AFTERQUERY is seeking an experienced Contract Manager / Negotiator to review and evaluate contract redlines on a flexible, per-task basis. This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for professionals with deep, hands-on commercial contract experience who can deliver clear, structured written assessments.
What You'll Do
- Review contract negotiation redlines submitted by others and assess their quality and accuracy
- Evaluate whether redlines reflect what competent, experienced counsel would realistically do
- Provide clear, well-structured written judgments and feedback on contract positions
- Work independently and flexibly — tasks are paid per completion
Types of Contracts Involved
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Vendor and SaaS agreements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience negotiating and redlining commercial contracts
- Bachelor's degree or higher (a law degree is not required)
- Strong ability to evaluate redlines and communicate structured, written judgments
- Comfortable working remotely and independently on a task-by-task basis
This role is flexible and remote — work when it suits you, paid per task completed.
