MICRO1 is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Attorney with a BigLaw background to support complex legal matters across M&A, private equity, capital markets, and commercial litigation. This is a premium contractor opportunity for a seasoned legal expert ready to deliver high-caliber work in a flexible, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on and execute mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation
- Provide expert counsel on corporate law matters, governance, and compliance
- Support commercial litigation strategy and case management
- Assist with private equity transactions, fund formation, and portfolio company matters
- Navigate capital markets transactions including securities offerings and regulatory filings
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements with precision and attention to detail
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience at a BigLaw firm or equivalent top-tier legal environment
- Deep expertise in M&A, corporate law, private equity, and capital markets
- Experience handling commercial litigation matters
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active bar membership in good standing
Compensation
This role offers a competitive contractor rate of $140–$400 per hour, commensurate with experience and scope of work.
