Corporate Lawyer — Research Survey at Mercor

Corporate Lawyer | $50/hr | Remote (US) | ~20-Min Survey

Mercor is conducting an occupation research study to better understand how corporate law roles differ across the profession. Experienced corporate lawyers are invited to share their professional perspective through a short written survey — no preparation or research required.

About the Study

Selected participants will complete a single written survey in which you will identify the key dimensions that distinguish different jobs within corporate law, along with the main categories or values within each dimension. You may include concise notes and clarify any terms as needed. We value your independent, firsthand professional judgment.

• Estimated time: 15–20 minutes (allow up to 25 minutes for a thorough response)
• No timer — respond at your own pace
• Compensation: $50/hr

Who Should Apply

• Lawyers with at least five years of hands-on corporate law experience
• Current or recent experience within the U.S. professional context
• Experience in a law firm or in-house role
• Ability to speak from direct professional experience

Note: This round is focused on corporate law. Experience solely in litigation, criminal law, or unrelated practice areas is outside the scope of this study. Specialized corporate law backgrounds are welcome.
