AFTERQUERY is seeking certified court interpreters to help build legal interpretation scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment. This is a fully remote, asynchronous role with weekly pay — ideal for experienced legal interpreters looking to contribute to cutting-edge AI development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and document realistic legal interpretation scenarios for AI model evaluation
• Apply your expertise in courtroom and legal settings to assess nuanced language and judgment
• Clearly articulate interpretation decisions in written English for research and training purposes

Requirements

• State or federal court interpreter certification, or an equivalent recognized credential
• Minimum 2 years of interpreting experience in legal environments such as courtrooms, depositions, or attorney-client meetings
• Full professional command of legal terminology in both working languages
• Strong written English skills for documenting interpretation decisions and rationale
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week
